Nutty-tasting, unrefined, 100% Certified Organic Flax Seed Oil is rich in the omega 3 essential fatty acid, alphalinolenic acid – typically 50-65%. It is also a good source of omega 6 and omega 9, and contains mixed tocopherols (especially gamma tocopherol) and tocotrienols. Omega 3 and 6 support a healthy heart, arteries and brain. Fatty acids make up the walls of every cell in the body and make hormone-like substances, important for many important body processes. This beautiful, golden oil is cold pressed and filtered. This nutty tasting, unrefined, cholesterol-free flax seed oil is rich in the Omega 3 essential fatty acid, alpha-linolenic acid. It also provides the omega 6 EFA linoleic acid and oleic acid, the omega 9 monounsaturated fatty acid. FAs make up the cell membranes of every cell in the body and produce hormone-like substances, which are important for many biochemical processes, including energy metabolism. Alpha-Linolenic acid converts to EPA and DHA, important for healthy heart, arteries, brain and flexible joints. Linoleic acid converts to gamma-linolenic acid, important for healthy hormone balance, skin, circulation, nerve function and immunity. Oliec acid supports cardiovascular health and may be necessary for healthy immune system functioning.

Directions: Take 1-2 teaspoons (5-10ml) daily.
