Who are Neuroforte® tablets for? Neuroforte® may be of benefit to:
What are Neuroforte® tablets for? The nervous system and brain act as the body’s communicating response system, co-ordinating incoming and outgoing messages from all over the body. A healthy nervous system allows us to manage life’s ups and downs bringing balance to our senses.
An important factor for a healthy nervous system is the proper balance of the brain’s neurotransmitters (chemicals that transmit information from one nerve cell to another) such as dopamine, GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) and serotonin.
When should I take Neuroforte® tablets? Neuroforte®can be taken daily by all people to support a healthy nervous system, allowing better management of life’s ups and downs, bringing balance to the senses, supporting stress and mental health.
The key ingredients in Neuroforte® can help balance the nervous system in the following ways:-
Lecithin seems to play a critical role in nerve function and helps the brain with its matrix of busy nerves make connections with each other.
Choline is a component of lecithin and is essential for helping to turn fat into energy within the liver as well as helping to transmit nerve impulses in the brain via another chemical, acetylcholine, that actually carries messages between nerve cells. The brain uses acetylcholine for many purposes, including controlling memory, heart rate, and sweating. Researchers have found that acetylcholine is in short supply among some people who have neurological disorders.
Phosphatidylserine (PS) is also found in lecithin and seems to have a particularly beneficial effect on the production and release of the chemicals that transmit messages and has been shown to improve the quality of life for people with declining brain function as well as helping people cope with stress and in some individuals, helping to alleviate depression.
Inositol has been identified as a compound that acts as a ‘second messenger’ helping with the release of calcium during the transmission of nerve signals that control muscle movements, making it essential for optimum cell and brain function.
Tyrosine readily crosses the blood-brain barrier and is a precursor for the neurotransmitters dopamine and noradrenalin which help to improve memory, increase mental alertness and elevates the mood. Tyrosine transmits nerve impulses to the brain, helps overcome depression and promotes the healthy functioning of the thyroid, adrenal and pituitary glands.
Glutamine is considered to be nature's "Brain Food" by improving mental capacities as well as giving a "lift" from fatigue.
Phenylalanine is used by the brain to produce noradrenaline, a chemical that transmits signals between nerve cells and the brain which helps to keep you awake and alert, reduce hunger pains as well as functioning as an antidepressant and helps improve memory.
Ginkgo biloba has been shown to increase blood circulation to micro blood capillaries found in the brain. This ensures that the brain receives vital oxygen and nutrients for optimal function. Gingko can help improve short-term memory, mental alertness and overall cognitive performance and is also a free radical scavenger. Gingko, amino acids and choline work synergistically to maintain the nervous system, help the body and mind cope with life’s stresses and provide balance of brain chemicals.
Magnesium is an important mineral to promote health because it enhances around 300 enzyme-related processes. This mineral helps convert blood sugar into energy and facilitates effective nerve and muscle functioning.
Nicotinamide (Vitamin B3) is also necessary for the functioning of the nervous system and may be important to the functioning of the brain, with applications such as memory recall.
Vitamin B6 or pyridoxine is involved in more bodily functions than any other single nutrient. It is required for the production of serotonin, melatonin, and dopamine, three important chemicals in the brain, as well as RNA and DNA nucleic acids, which contain genetic instructions for the reproduction and growth of all cells.
