Lecithin seems to play a critical role in nerve function and helps the brain with its matrix of busy nerves make connections with each other.
Choline is a component of lecithin and is essential for helping to turn fat into energy within the liver as well as helping to transmit nerve impulses in the brain via another chemical, acetylcholine, that actually carries messages between nerve cells. The brain uses acetylcholine for many purposes, including controlling memory, heart rate, and sweating. Directions: Adults and children over 12 years of age, one tablet daily after food, can be increased to two tablets daily if required, or as advised by a suitably qualified person.
