This broad spectrum, one a day Multinutrient has an unusually high mineral bioavailability for a tablet formulation as the minerals are presented in their organic forms. In addition to a comprehensive range of vitamins and minerals this formula also contains the antioxidants lutein, bilberry and beta carotene. Boron and iron are also included (the iron is micro coated to reduce its degradation and interaction with other nutrients). In addition phytase is provided which digests phytic acid, a compound found in food which can interfere with the absorption of minerals. One a day vitamins and minerals with phytase provides nutrients in their readily absorbable forms. It can be used as a simple maintenance supplement to cover any shortfalls in dietary intake, or alternatively it can be used as a foundation upon which other specific nutrients can be added.
