Muira Puama is also known as Ptychopetalum olacoides or potency wood, a small tree found in Brazil. For centuries, the roots of the large Muira Puama bush, also known as Potency Wood, have been drunk as a tea by the native people of Brazil. Damiana aphrodisiaca is a small South American shrub, whose leaves were drunk as a tea on special occasions by the ancient Mayans.
