Menovital ® is an original formulation that combines a balanced range of
vitamins, minerals and herbs to help women before, during and after the

What are Menovital® tablets for?
The menopause is the transition period in a woman’s life when the ovaries stop
producing eggs, menstrual activity decreases and eventually ceases. The body
also decreases the production of oestrogen (the female hormone) and
progesterone. It is at the time before a woman reaches her menopause (5 to 10
years) that unpleasant symptoms start to develop. More specifically, there is a
rapid hormonal balance change in the woman’s body that causes a woman to
experience menstrual irregularities, hot flushes and irritability. Finally, once
a woman reaches the menopause and in the years which follow, other symptoms
appear such as an increased vulnerability to some conditions.
Phyto-estrogens are essential nutrients that share the same biological activity with estrogens produced in the female body. Soy isoflavones, for example are naturally occurring phyto-estrogens which help replenish the body’s declining estrogen levels. A variety of herbs with oestrogen-like actions similar to the effects of soy, include Liquorice and Red Clover, as well as Flaxseed oil. Sage, Agnus castus, Black cohosh and Starflower oil also provide support and an overall balancing effect to the body. Finally, Siberian Ginseng is considered to be a good female tonic.
