Gamma Linolenic Acid is a well known constituent of evening primrose, borage and blackcurrant seed oils. GLA is involved in the formation of healthy cell membranes and is converted in the body to prostaglandin E1, which is an essential biochemical process. Mega GLA Complex is emulsified with olive oil and lecithin to enhance absorption and bio-availability. Each capsule provides approximately four times as much GLA as a 500mg capsule of EPO (Evening Primrose Oil) delivering approximately 168mg of GLA.
