A high potency formula, providing nutrients that help maintain good eye health. Lutein has strong antioxidant properties. It is the primary carotenoid found in the macular (the central area of the retina) of the eye, and it is thought to act as a filter protecting the macular from potentially damaging forms of light. Lutein complex in this product is from marigold petals. Natural source beta carotene complex from Dunaliella salina provides a wide spectrum of antioxidant carotenoids. High blood levels of beta carotene are associated with good eye health. Zinc is needed by several key enzymes found in the retina, essential for optimal vision. Copper is the balancing mineral for zinc.
