Lactobacillus Bulgaricus by Biocare from £19.75
INT2 - A Bulgarian scientist, Metchinkof, isolated L. Bulgaricus from yoghurt cultures in 1908. He believed that this organism was the source of the improved health and longevity of those who had consumed the yoghurt. Lactobacillus Bulgaricus was the first organism to be implicated in providing benefits to human health. It is unfortunate that with most commercially produced yoghurt, the number of these important organisms is drastically reduced by the time the product is consumed, hence more benefit may derive from supplementing with concentrated cultures.
