Like all other amino acids cysteine's most important function is to contribute to the structure of proteins. One such protein that cysteine helps to form the structure of is keratin, which is found in hair, skin and nails. It also acts as a detoxifier and plays a role in energy metabolism and fatty acid synthesis.
As with all our amino acids, Lamberts L-Cysteine is presented in its free-form for maximum absorption. Each capsule provides a full 500mg of L-Cysteine.
Ingredients: L-Cysteine, Capsule Shell (Gelatin), Silicon Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate, Cellulose.
Directions: 1 to 3 capsules daily with water or fruit juice. An amino acid is best taken half an hour before any meal or at bedtime.
