Concentrated standardised extract of Cimicifuga racemosa l. Also known as Squaw root or black snakeroot and is native to Canada and East parts of the USA. Black Cohosh is a tall herbaceous plant with feathery racemes of white blossoms which being slender, droop gracefully. The root is collected in the autumn and dried to form the extract. It was once known as "Squaw Root" by the North American Indians.
Ingredients: Dried extract of Cimicifuga racemosa L, lactose, glucose syrup, microcrystalline cellulose, talc, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate.
Nutritional: Each tablet contains: Dried, concentrated, standardised extract LI 182 Black Cohosh (cimicifuga racemosa L.) equivalent to up to 54mg of the fresh herb.
Directions: Do not chew, but swallow whole, 1 tablet daily with a little cold liquid at meal times. Improvements in symptoms are normally seen after around 4 weeks of taking black cohosh.
