This product is designed to stimulate regular bowel movement by increasing intestinal mobility, particularly when constipation symptoms occur. This product contains the natural plant extract Sterculia urens which is not digested or degraded by natural intestinal bacteria and remains unchanged whilst passing through the colon. The natural fibres act as a bulking agent helping to push waste through the body, When the colon is emptied regularly, less bacteria forms and therefore fewer bacteria are absorbed into the system. Isogel mint can be used in cases of reduced bowel movement or difficulty in passing stools. This product can also be used as an additional support for Diverticulosis, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and for painless passing of stools associated with haemorrhoids. Isogel mint is sugar free and suitable for use during pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding.
Ingredients: Sterculiae gum (Karaya Gum), flavours, colouring (E171), sweetener: saccharine and other excipients.
Nutritional: 1g of granules contains Sterculiae gum (Karaya Gum) 850mg
Directions: ADULTS: take 5g to 15g (1-3 teaspoons) of granules together with at least 150-450ml of water once a day. CHILDREN aged 6 or over: take 1.5g to 5g (1/3 - 1 teaspoon) with 50-150ml of water once a day. Place the granules in the mouth first and then swallow with water. DO NOT MIX THE GRANULES WITH WATER IN A GLASS.
Health Warnings: Taking it without adequate fluid may cause choking or in rare cases swelling and block your throat or oesophagus. Do not take this product if you have difficulty in swallowing. For every 5g of granules, drink at least 150ml of water immediately after taking it. If you experience chest pain, vomiting or difficulty in swallowing or breathing, seek immediate medical attention. This product should not be taken for longer than 21 days without a break. A break of 3 days is recommended. If these instructions are followed, it is suitable for long term use.
