Inorganic iron is frequently associated with stomach upsets. However, by utilising organic molecules such as ascorbic acid and malic acid to improve absorption, people who are generally sensitive to iron supplementation tolerate iron without upset. It has been known for many years that malic acid found naturally in apples and vitamin C found in oranges acts as a biologically active mineral transporter for molecular iron by changing ferric iron III to ferric iron II.

Ingredients: Vitamin C (as Ascorbic Acid), Malic Acid, Iron Citrate, Capsule (Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose & Water), Bulking Agent (Cellulose), Riboflavin, Anti-caking Agent (Vegetable Magnesium Stearate). ( Suitable for Vegetarians)

Nutritional: Malic Acid 100mg, Vitamin C 100mg (166.7% of ECRDA), Iron 14mg (100% of ECRDA), Riboflavin (vitamin B2) 3.2mg (200% of ECRDA)

Directions: One capsule taken daily with food or as professionally directed. Combine with Adult Multivitamins and Minerals, Vitamin C and Beetroot Extract.

Health Warnings: To be used when clinically required. Not suitable for individuals with hemochromatosis - a common inherited disorder where iron absorption from the small intestine is not properly regulated.
