DLPA Complex, which was previously called InflaCalm, is a potent natural supplement that can be used safely and effectively to help maintain a normal level in the body’s pain-pleasure continuum. Its three ingredients, bromelain, Astaxanthin and the amino acid DLPA, are safe and well researched. The amino acid, DL-Phenylalanine, has long been regarded by nutritionists and holistic doctors as being nature’s most effective aid in this field.

The powerful supporting actions of Bromelain, an enzyme extracted from the stem of the pineapple plant, ananas comosus. came about because of its ability to maintain a normal flow of white blood cells and body chemicals into areas of swelling. The ability of Astaxanthin, the active ingredient in the algae Haematococcus pluvialis to quench free radicals is at the heart of its function in this formula.

Ingredients: DLPA (DL-phenylalanine) powder, bromelain powder, vegetarian capsule: hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, colour: red iron oxide, titanium dioxide; rice bran, Haematococcus pluvialis (anti caking agent: silicon dioxide; emulsifier: lecithin (from soya); antioxidants: ascorbyl palmitate, di-alpha tocopherol), flow agent: magnesium stearate (vegetarian source); anti caking agent: silicon dioxide.

Nutritional: One capsule typically provides: DL-phenylalanine (DLPA) 250mg, Bromelain 200mg, Astaxanthin (from Haematococcus pluvialis) 1mg.

Directions: Adults and Children over 8 years, take 1 capsules 3 times a day on an empty stomach, 30 to 60 minutes before meals, or as your health professional advises. Do not exceed recommended daily intake.

Health Warnings: Not advisable if pregnant or in cases of melanoma, schizophrenia or high blood pressure or if taking fenfluramine, anti-depressants or MAO inhibitor drugs. Contains phenylalanine.
