Also known as St John's Wort this ancient remedy was used to ward of evil spirits by the Greeks. Its common name came from the fact that it flowers around 24th June, when St John the Baptist was beheaded and its yellow petals turn red when crushed! Hypericum is often given to treat nerve injuries due to its effective action on the central nervous system. Its varied properties include sedative, anti-inflammatory and antidepressant.
Ingredients: 100 g contains: Hypericum perforatum, Herba tincture (1=3) 15 ml/Calendula officinalis, Herbal tincture (H2) 10 ml. In a base containing Lanolin, Yellow Beeswax, Wool Alcohols, Olive Oil and Sunflower Seed Oil. Nominal ethanol content 6.4% w/w. (
