Simethicone is a non-prescription drug used for short-term relief of excess wind in the gastro-intestinal (GI) tract. It is also used to relieve symptoms of baby colic. Simethicone is available as a non-prescription product alone and in combination with non-prescription antacids, for relief of stomach upset.
