This is where Broncold from Health Aid can help. It contains 3 active ingredients that have been found to relieve all of these symptoms, Menthol, Aniseed and Capsicum Tincture.
What is Broncold syrup for?
- Menthol has cooling properties and is commonly used as a supplement to relieve common signs of colds such as sore throat, fever and muscle aches
- Aniseed is a traditional remedy which is considered to be an effective aid in treating cold relating conditions. It is commonly used to clear nasal congestion, and relieve sore throat and coughs.
- Capsicum is made from chilli, and has been shown to provide relief for sore throats. It is an effective remedy for runny nose, and offers relief from persistent coughs and colds.

Ingredients: Menthol, Aniseed Oil, Capsicum Tincture, Ginger Oleoresin, Clove Oil, Peppermint Oil, Glycerin E422, Glucose, Sucrose, Tragacanth E413, Benzoic Acid E210, Caramel E150c, Benzoin Tincture, Tolu Tincture, Ethanol and Purified Water.
Directions: Liquid for oral use. Adults and children over 12 years: Take two or three 5ml spoonfuls (10ml to 15ml). Children from 6 to 12 years: Take one or two 5ml spoonfuls (5ml to 10ml). The above doses may be taken every 2 or 3 hours. Do not give to children under 6 years.
