Ginkovital is specially formulated using standardised Ginkgo Biloba extract concentrate with a high level of Ginkgo flavonoids -principle components of the herb, which may help maintain blood circulation. Unlike many other herbs, ginkgo leaves are not frequently used in their crude state, but rather, in the form of a concentrated, standardised ginkgo biloba extract (GBE). What are GinkoVital™ capsules for?
Ginkgo therefore works primarily by regulating the tone and elasticity of the blood vessels throughout the body’s network. This improves the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the organs and outer extremities. The benefits of this can be seen most obviously in the brain where increased blood and oxygen supply can lead to improved short and long term memory, increased reaction time and improved mental clarity.
Due to this action Ginkgo Biloba Extract is often recommend to treat elderly persons with Alzheimer’s Disease or Cerebral Insufficiency. Cerebral Insufficiency is a general term for a collection of symptoms that include difficulties in concentration and memory, absentmindedness, lack of energy, depressive mood, anxiety, dizziness, tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and headache. This occurs most commonly as people get older and is usually caused by a narrowing of blood vessels to the brain. Ginkgo is widely used for treating dementia due to its ability to improve blood flow to the brain and because of its antioxidant properties. The evidence that ginkgo may improve thinking, learning, and memory in people with Alzheimer's disease (AD) has been highly promising.

Nutritional: Each capsule contains ( average ) RDA % Ginkgo biloba ext. ( 50:1 ) 100.0 mg * RDA - EC Recommended Daily Allowance. * - EC RDA not yet established Free from starch, yeast, artificial preservatives and flavouring.
Directions: Adults and children over 12 years of age: One capsule daily , can be increased to two daily if required or as advised by a suitably qualified person. Store in a cool dry place , keep out of reach and sight of children.
Health Warnings: If taking any drugs for blood thinning or to lower blood pressure, check with your primary healthcare physician before taking, Be aware that it can sometimes take up to 3 months to notice significant improvement.
