Taking this supplement one month prior to a holiday in the sun may help to protect the skin. The Beta Carotene is from deep sea algae Dunaliello grown in the unpolluted waters off the Pacific Coast of California. It provides a spectrum of carotenoids, including alpha-carotene, cryptoxanthin, zeaxanthin and lutein, which are not found in synthetically derived beta carotene.
Ingredients: Starflower Oil, Capsule shell: Gelatin, Glycerine; Dunialiella Powder Suspension (providing natural source carotenoids), Natural Source Vitamin E (as d-alpha Tocopherol),Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid), Selenium Enriched Yeast, Thickener: Silicon Dioxide.
