This product has the beneficial action of red wine, as well as the resveratrol, which is believed to be responsible for the main benefits of red grapes. Recent studies have shown a close relationship between the regular drinking of red wine and a healthy heart. This phenomenon has been called the "French Paradox" because, although the French eat as much saturated fat as English or Americans, they have much healthier hearts. The beneficial action of red wine is still not completely understood, but is thought to be in part due to its high content of phenols, especially proanthocyanidins. They have a strong antioxidant action that protects the walls of blood vessels, helping to maintain their normal permeability and they may also protect blood cholesterol from oxidation.

Ingredients: Dry grape extract (Vitis vinifera, 200mg per capsule) rich in resveratrol - Corn Starch - Cellulose - Anti-caking agent: magnesium stearate. Capsule shell of vegetable origin: hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose.
Nutritional: (per 100g) - Proteins: 2.3g, Carbohydrates: 38.4g, Fats:5.6g, Grape Extract:37.3g, of which resveratrol:186mg. Contains no added sugar, dairy, gelatin or preservatives.
Directions: 1 capsule a day, to be taken in the morning with a glass of water.
