Efalex (Brain and Eye Function) by Efamol from £6.99

This provides fatty acids for brain and eye function, with Efamol evening primrose oil and fish oil. CAPTURING THE ESSENCE OF EFALEX: Did you know that fat is essential for life? There are two families of 'good fats', the omega-6 family and the omega-3 family. Whilst some 'good fats' can be made by the body, factors such as age, diet and excess saturated fats can reduce the body's efficiency in converting them from food. With today's busy lifestyles sometimes we don't always get enough of what is good for us. That's why it is important to invest in yourself. Based on extensive scientific research to ensure the right balance, Efamol have carefully formulated a range of products designed to safeguard your dietary intake of essential fatty acids. Quality and purity are key values at Efalex.Efalex (Brain and Eye Function)

The delicate seeds of the Evening Primrose flower are carefully nurtured ensuring the oil they contain remains in its most natural form. Efamol marine fish oils are produced to an equally superior standard. Long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids are a key structural part of the brain and eye, playing an important role in vision and brain cell function. An adequate dietary intake of these fatty acids will help maintain all aspects of brain and visual function, notably learning ability, concentration and co-ordination. Efalex provides the omega-3 and omega-6 long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids from fish oil and evening primrose oil, in a convenient balanced formula.

Efalex contains fish oil carefully selected for its quality, purity and high DHA content, as well as Efamol evening primrose oil. DHA is the most abundant omega-3 fatty acid in the brain, and is an essential constituent of nerve cells. Cells in the retina of the eye also contain a very high level of DHA, vital for maintaining eye function. Numerous research studies have demonstrated that a combination of the fatty acids DHA and AA is important in helping maintain brain and eye function. Efalex contains the specific long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids DHA and AA, important building blocks of the brain, nervous system and eye. Also, EPA and GLA, fatty acids involved in the production of prostaglandins - hormone like substances which are involved in the transmission of messages between nerves. Scientifically developed for: children and adults in a learning environment + children and adults with a low dietary intake of long chain polyunsaturated fatty acids.
