DLPA is an essential amino acid that enhances brain activity and may reduce appetite and is found in many protein foods and plays a role in brain activity, mood and alertness. People with repetitive injuries, osteo-arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, back pain, migraines, leg and muscle cramps would be well advised to include DLPA as part of their diet. DLPA enhances production of a compound called cholecystokinin (CCK), which may reduce appetite.

Nutritional: Each tablet contains ( average ) RDA % Dl-Phenylalanine HCl 500.0 mg * RDA - EC Recommended Daily Allowance. * - EC RDA not yet established Free from yeast, gluten, salt, preservatives, artificial colouring and flavouring.
Directions: Adults and children over 16 years of age, one tablet daily on an empty stomach. Can be increased to three if required or as advised by a suitably qualified person. Store in a cool dry place, keep out of sight and reach of children.
Health Warnings: People with phenylketonuria (PKU) , pregnant or lactating mothers and persons using MAO inhibitor drugs should not take DLPA except on medical advice.
