Dried standardised extract of Cynara scolymus. Helps maintain a healthy digestive system. A perennial herb native to the Mediterranean. Active ingredients include Cynarin, cynaropicrin, cynaroside with antioxidant flavonoids. Globe artichokes have long been grown and enjoyed as vegetables although it is only since the discovery of cynarin - one of the plant's key constituents - that scientific research has been able to establish this species as a herb of nutritional value, particularly when taken as part of a healthy diet and lifestyle.Cynara Artichoke

Ingredients: Dried extract of artichoke leaf, lactose, gelatin, magnesium stearate, anti-caking agents silica and talc, colours E171, E132 and E104.

Nutritional: Each capsule contains 320mg dried LI 120 special standardised artichoke extract, equivalent to 8g fresh artichoke (cynara scolymus). Free from salt, yeast, gluten and added starch. Suitable for diabetics.

Directions: Take 1 -2 capsules once daily as required with a meal. Do not chew but swallow whole with cold liquid.
