Cuts and Grazes Ointment by Dr Greenfingers from £4.95

Natural First Aid for Cuts and Grazes. Contains a tincture of fresh Calendula plant within an all-natural ointment. Calendula has antiseptic and antibacterial properties and helps promote the healing of minor wounds. For the treatment of cuts, abrasions and minor wounds.

Ingredients: 100g contains Calendula officinalis (herbal tincture (1=2)20 ml, wool alcohols and lanolin, Yellow beeswax, Olive oil, Sunflower Seed oil. Nominal ethanol content 7.25% w/w.

Directions: First cleanse the affected area, then apply the ointment either directly onto the wound or onto a dry dressing applied to the wound. Apply 2-3 times a day.

Health Warnings: The lanolin is purified to remove any pesticides that the sheep may have been treated with to ensure that the lanolin in contact with your skin is residue free. Metal tubes are best for ointments as they do not allow air to penetrate into the ointment and react with it so the ointments are better preserved.
