Cranberries and fresh Cranberry juice have long been employed in Europe, especially in Germany as a natural means of maintaining the health of the urinary system. A mixed product containing both concentrated cranberry powder and L.acidophilus. Vitamin C and lactic acid bacteria are included to increase the effectiveness of this product and concentrated cranberry provides a high level of active fresh cranberry in each spoonful. It is a sugar free powder that can be readily mixed with water. Hippuric acid is a natural constituent of cranberries which has been extracted by drug companies to help women with cystitis.

Unfortunately, most cranberry juice is pasteurised to prevent it from spoilage, however, nutritionists prefer fresh, un-pasteurised extracts, The best way of preventing spoilage of un-pasteurised cranberries is by vacuum packed. Freeze-dried, powered cranberries are an ideal and convenient alternative to fresh cranberry juice.

Ingredients: Cranberry Concentrate, Magnesium Hydroxide, Vitamin C (as Ascorbic Acid), Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bulking Agent (Microcrystalline Cellulose) ( Suitable for Vegetarians)

Nutritional: Cranberry Concentrate 3.6g (Vaccinium oxycoccus) (with magnesium hydroxide), Vitamin C 300mg (500% of ECRDA), Lactobacillus acidophilus 125mg (providing approx 2 billion cells)

Directions: One level teaspoon (approx 4g) mixed into water and taken daily before food or as professionally directed. Combine with NEF 242 and Bio-Acidophilus for urinary tract support.
