L. acidophilus is a friendly bacteria that occurs naturally on the epithelial tissue of the mouth, throat, gastrointestinal tract and vagina. Cervagyn is a vaginal cream to help maintain healthy vaginal flora. It has been formulated to maximise the effectiveness of the ingredients through prolonging contact time. Lactic acid produced by lactic acid bacteria helps to reduce the proliferation of yeast organisms.
