Causticum for raw, burning, sore pain with chesty cough and sore throat; hoarseness; stiff neck; symptomatic relief of rheumatic pain; contractures of tendons. A homoeopathic medicine for burns and scalds - General treatment for burns and scalds. After a day in the sun when reaction is expected. Also for coughs - Hard, racking cough with pain in chest bringing exhaustion. Inability to bring up phlegm. Also for haemorrhoids - Sore piles. Inability to strain to pass stools. Also for rheumatism - Pains in the jaw and neck. Better for warmth.

Nutritional: 6C homoeopathic potency in 100mg lactose/sucrose tablets (PL 0298/5191). Suitable for vegetarians. Weleda medicines are packed in amber glass to protect them from light and the effects of the environment, and are hermetically sealed to ensure absolute product integrity.
Directions: Adults and children, 1 or 2 tablets to be dissolved on the tongue. Unless otherwise directed; for acute conditions, 1 dose 2 hourly for up to 6 doses. Thereafter and where less acute, 1 dose 3 times a day between meals for no more than one month. When relief is obtained, reduce the dosage frequency or discontinue.
