Provides a combination of nutrients which studies have shown to be of benefit to the cardiovascular and circulatory system. Cellular levels of co enzyme Q10 vary between organs with the greatest concentration being found in the heart. Bromelain is a natural proteolytic enzyme found in pineapple. Bromelain breaks down proteins. Co enzyme Q10 stabilises cell membranes and is required for normal heart function. Co enzyme Q10 is a powerful antioxidant and helps release energy from food. Lecithin is an important constituent of bile and helps to keep cholesterol soluble in the blood Chromium helps maintain normal glucose and blood triglyceride levels. Selenium is a natural chelator and is an essential co-factor in the production of the antioxidant enzyme glutathione peroxidase. Manganese is required for the formation of the antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismutase (SOD).
