Bioforce's devils claw tincture has been very popular over the years. They are now pleased to be able to bring you Devil's claw tincture tablets. Made from tincture. Also known as Harpagophytum procumbens and is named after the sharp hooks on the fruit. The most widely used name for Harpagophytum is Devil's claw, a term used to describe the branching, wood-like and barbed fruit which appear in the rainy season. It is the tubers or the storage roots of the plant, measuring approximately 20cm in length, which are used medicinally. After collection, they are dried to 90% of the original fresh weight to prevent the growth of fungi on the surface of the tubers. These are made from Harpago procumbens, cultivated to organic standards on specially created farms in the Kalahari Desert. Each year, up to 15 million wild Harpagophytum plants are dug up from the desert. This helps to protect the wild habitat of Devil's claw. Plants are grown from seed, developing into tubers that take 4 years to mature. These are harvested by hand and brought to Roggwil in Switzerland to be transformed Bioforce's famous devil's claw tincture and then, through their special tableting process, into tincture tablets. Devil's claw has long been known for its beneficial properties. The principal active components are called iridoids, the principal of which is harpagoside. Devil's claw also has been found to elicit antioxidant activity. Atrosan (Devils Claw Tablets)

Ingredients: Extract of Harpagophytum procumbens; lactose, maize starch, microcrystalline cellulose, silica, magnesium sterate, hypromellose, talc, titanium dioxide and macrogol.

Nutritional: One 855mg tablet contains the extract of Harpagophytum procumbens, equivalent to 1g of whole dried herb.

Directions: Adults: 1 tablet every 12 hours. Maintenance: 1 tablet daily. Note the tablets should be swallowed whole with a small glass of water. For maximum benefit it is likely that devil's claw will have to be used for several months.

Health Warnings: Not recommended during pregnancy and nursing. Not suitable for those with milk related allergies. Discontinue if abdominal discomfort is experienced. Avoid in cases of known hypersensitivity to Harpagophytum preparations.
