Bilberry Fresh Herb Extract. Also known as Vaccinium myrtillus and is a small shrub native to Europe, Northern Asia and North America. Related to the Grape, Blackcurrant and Blueberry. A rich source of flavonoid glycosides, anthocyanins and tannins. Bilberry - this preparation contains the fresh herb extract of Bilberry (Vaccinium myrtillus). Bilberry is a shrub that grows in woods and forest throughout Europe. The fruit is blue-black or purple and bilberries have a high nutritional value. The main active constituents of Bilberry appear to be flavonoid compounds known as anthocyanosides. Bioforce herbal products are prepared from organically cultivated or wild herbs in Switzerland. Fresh herbs, harvested at their prime, are used to prepare the tinctures.<
