Agnus Castus is a native plant of the Mediterranean region. The fruit of the plant is used. A tincture prepared from the fruit of Vitex agnus-castus, commonly known as Agnus Castus (Chaste Tree). Despite its common name, the Chaste Tree (Agnus Castus) is actually a shrub. Agnus Castus has finger like leaves, violet flowers and fruit which give off a pleasant peppermint-like smell due to the volatile oils present. Bioforce herbal products, are prepared from organically cultivated or wild herbs in Switzerland. Fresh herbs, harvested at their prime, are used to prepare the tinctures. No pesticides, insecticides, fungicides or chemical fertilizers used in the preparation of this tincture. Alcohol extraction ensures a good balance of the important elements present in Agnus Castus. Directions: Adults: 15 to 20 drops of tincture in a little water twice daily. Adolescents: 10 to 15 drops of tincture twice a day, in a little water. It is not recommended for children under the age of 14 unless they have been menstruating for 2 years. Bioforce state no restrictions as to long term use. Take for at least 2 months for best results.
