Selenoprecise may help to maintain healthy cardiovascular, immune and reproductive systems. It is recognized that soils in many areas of the world, including the UK, are deficient in selenium and this product is an ideally formulated supplement for those living in a modern environment.
Combination of antioxidants selenium, zinc and vitamins C, B6 and E, which all act synergistically when supplemented in combination. Selenium is an essential trace element which is important to human health. Zinc is important for the normal functioning of the immune system. It is commonly recognised that soils in many areas of the world, including the UK, are deficient in selenium, often as a result of intensive farming. Selenium carries out its main function as part of the enzyme glutathione peroxidase - an antioxidant that protects the inside of the cell against oxidative damage by free radicals. (Free radicals are chemicals that are created by our own metabolism as well as from environmental factors such as smoking, air pollution, UV light exposure, etc.). Selenium has been used to treat a variety of disorders. Its primary use is as an antioxidant therapy for supporting the immune system, increasing resistance to bacteria and viruses, as well as cancer cells.
Ingredients: Zinc Glaciate, Vitamin C (ascorbic acid), Selenium yeast, bulking agent (microcrystalline cellulose), Vitamin E (d-a-Tocopherol), glazing agent (hypromellose, talc, zein), firming agent (silicon dioxide), Vitamin B (pyridoxine hydrochloride), ant caking agent (magnesium stearate), colour (iron oxide, titanium dioxide).
Nutritional: Each tablet contains: Vitamin E 15mg (150%RDA), Vitamin C 90mg (150%RDA), Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) 1.6mg (80%RDA), Zinc 15mg (100%RDA), Organic Selenium 100ug. Energy, protein, carbohydrates and fat negligible.
Directions: One tablet daily or as directed by a physician. Do not exceed recommended amount.
Health Warnings: There are no reported contra-indications and the product is usually well-tolerated. Toxic effects can occur after intakes above 900µg per day. Symptoms can include hair and nail loss. Pregnant or lactating women and those on medication should consult a doctor before taking nutritional supplements. Discontinue use if adverse reactions occur.
