CLA is short for Conjugated Linoleic Acid. CLA is the most abundant polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA) found in human tissues. Important component of cell membranes and for normal immune function. Naturally found in red meat. When taken in a supplement you can get the benefits of CLA without the saturated fat and hormones found in red meat, which research has recently associated with breast cancer. CLA is converted within the body into hormone- like substances (prostanoids and leukotrienes). These regulate blood vessel leakage, lipid (fat) accumulation, inflammatory and immune cell behaviour. They also inhibit the development of cardiovascular disease. Increases the discharge of fat from cells enabling the body to alter composition by reducing fat levels. May help to increase lean muscle mass
Bio-CLA is a supplement that is most effective when used in conjunction with a sensible diet alongside moderate, regular exercise. It is a natural product without the addition of any stimulants. The capsules are produced under pharmaceutical control. The raw materials comply with government regulations in the EC and Scandinavia. Testing ensures that the raw materials are in accordance with their certificates of analysis.
Ingredients: Safflower Oil as free fatty acids, Conjugated Linoleic Acid, Safflower oil as free fatty acids, Gelatine, Glycerol (vegetable)
Nutritional: Each capsule contains 500mg of free fatty acids, equivalent to 375mg of CLA is an easily absorbable form. CLA can occur in a number of chemical forms; Bio-CLA contains the two isomers of CLA known to be most effective within the body.
Directions: 2 -4 capsules to be taken with food 1-2 times daily.
