This product is a new addition to Biocare's range of probiotics and contains 24 billion viable cells of the LAB4 organisms in a base of fructooligosaccharides. It makes a higher strength alternative to the regular Bio Acidophilus. Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium bifidum are beneficial intestinal bacteria that naturally exist together in the gastrointestinal tract. These organisms have been shown to colonise the human intestinal tract and help maintain the health of the digestive system. It contains two strains of L.acidophilus and two strains of the B.bifidum which are acid stable and available only from Biocare. Dairy free, vacuum packed and microencapsulated to maintain stability in a FOS base to provide a specific food source.

Biocare's probiotics are selected to deliver maximum functionality in the human GI tract - they are human strains which are therefore effective for human healthcare, are proven by human double blind placebo controlled trials, are high potency and each batch is guaranteed quality by independent potency analysis and they have unique and proven synergistic interactions with other supplements.
