Bilberries have not only been used for many years as a tasty fruit but also for the special properties they contain. The active constituents of Bilberries include flavonoid compounds known as anthocyanins which are potent antioxidants. Also known as Vaccinium myrtillus and is a small shrub native to Europe, Northern Asia and North America. Related to the Grape, Blackcurrant and Blueberry. A rich source of flavonoid glycosides, anthocyanins and tannins. May help maintain the health of the eyes.
Microcrystalline Cellulose, Di Calcium Phosphate, Maltodextrin, Modified Maize Starch, Bilberry Extract 100:1, Magnesium Stearate.
Each tablet provides on average 25mg of 100:1 Bilberry Extract, equivalent to 2500mg of fresh Bilberries, standardised to contain 25% Anthocyanins.
Take one tablet a day as a food supplement.
