A powerful combination pack of Alpha Lipoic Acid which is a powerful naturally occurring antioxidant, plus L-Carnitine which is involved in the metabolism of long chain fatty acids in the energy cycle. It is synthesised in the liver, brain and kidneys from the essential amino acids, Lysine and Methionine. Carnitine is available in two main forms: L-Carnitine and Acetyl L-Carnitine. Both forms can be used by the body. In fact, L Carnitine breaks down into Acetyl L Carnitine when it is converted into energy.
