Acidophilus and Lactobacilus rhamnosus. Acidophilus and Lactobacilus rhamnosus Capsules. This pro-biotic formula provides a natural source of live product. Each capsule provides a minimum of 3 billion bacteria from 8 different strains guaranteed for a period one year from date of manufacture. These "friendly" bacteria produce acetic, lactic and formic acids, which may help maintain the favourable pH balance of the intestinal flora keeping the stomach happy. Fruit sugars are also included to provide a pre-biotic growth medium for the bacteria once in the digestive tract, encouraging their numbers to flourish. An excellent supplement for, during or after anti-biotic therapy.
