Price's Patent Candles Ltd. began manufacturing candles in 1830. By the end of the century the company was the largest maker of candles in the world. It made inexpensive stearine candles that burned almost as well as expensive beeswax candles and held 114 patents for its inventions. Warnings: Never leave burning candle unattended. Remove all packaging before use. Keep out of the reach of children and pets. Always place on heat resistant surface which will not be damaged by dripping wax, away from draughts and flammable materials. Do not allow foreign objects to fall into wax pool. Never move hot or burning candles. Novelty candles may burn unevenly. Trim wick to 7mm prior to use. Tealights are ideal for lanterns or for holders which have holes in them as the tealight case will hold the wax as it melts.
